The Day of the Dead is a Mexican celebration which I enjoy as a visual artist. This year my family went to the largest festival in the U.S., located in Hollywood, CA. The night is family and music oriented with altars which celebrate the family members and friends who've passed on. It is not a sad or scary event, it's a fun celebration with laughter and music, dancing and great food.
