::: live music, built to spill :::

This was just one of those things I've always wanted to do, photograph one of my favorite bands. Close encounters with my camera and the music I enjoy. It's been a few years since I'd seen them and I don't listen to them every week anymore but this band holds a Super huge and special place in my heart and history. I was introduced to them back in 1999... from a mix tape... from a coworker... who became a boyfriend. We've both moved on from that relationship and that age and time and space but that boy, that tape and this band opened up an awareness in me about all the different types of music out there that I enjoy, and I'm at a place where I like to focus on what I appreciate most so here's to the little things like mix tapes, mellow vibes and live music.
